UK Student Visa Bank Statement
Requirements in Pakistan

Meeting UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) financial rules is the single most critical step in obtaining your CAS and student visa. Here is the complete breakdown for Pakistani applicants.

1. The Core 28-Day Bank Balance Rule

Under UKVI immigration rules, any financial evidence submitted for a UK Student Visa must be maintained continuously in a personal or parent's bank account for a minimum of 28 consecutive days prior to closing the statement date.

The final balance date on the bank statement must be within 31 days of the visa application submission date.

2. Required Maintenance Funds Thresholds

In addition to outstanding 1st-year tuition fees, applicants must show living expenses according to course location:

  • Studying in London (Inner London): £1,334 per month for up to 9 months (Total: £12,006).
  • Studying Outside London: £1,023 per month for up to 9 months (Total: £9,207).

3. Verification & Acceptable Banks in Pakistan

Statements must be issued on official bank letterhead with branch contact details, stamp, and signature. UKVI conducts electronic and phone verification with Pakistani banking institutions (e.g., Habib Bank Limited, Meezan Bank, MCB, Allied Bank, Standard Chartered).
